The Upazilas were Sadar Upazila of Gazipur District, Sadar Upazila of Gaibandha District, Kaliganj Upazila of Jhenaidah District, Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar District and Jhuraicharri Upazila of Rangamati District.
