Objectives: to see the uptake rate of anovulant pills and review the profile of the acceptors at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt, (UPTH) Southern Nigeria.

Methods: A retrospective study was conducted of all shoppers WHO accepted and used the anovulant pills at the birth control clinic of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH), Port Harcourt, between first Gregorian calendar month, 2006 to thirty first Gregorian calendar month, 2015.
