When technology advances, we cannot afford to ignore any wearable device that is most suitable for pregnant women. Our proposed system is a wearable device that tracks expectant mothers’ health and transmits data to the appropriate physician, especially in rural areas. Doctors will offer higher quality medical services and more personalised healthcare to these women using real-time wearable devices. This health-monitoring system would enable a pregnant woman to communicate with a doctor with nearly full functionality. The main goal of this system is to take preventive measures such as continuous health screening of patients from an early age and to provide advice on how to reduce prenatal risks. It can only be used after the 16th week of pregnancy. The health monitoring unit continuously monitors the womb’s body temperature and pulse, and sends the data to a gynaecologist at a remote location via GSM if there are any deviations from the standard value. The use of innovative technology for pregnant women’s treatment allows for better care and, as a result, pregnancy-related mortality can be decreased significantly.
