The aim of this paper is to test the mental models of business actors in relation to the stakeholder strategy of corporate governance. The cognitive map is used to visualise these diagrams in order to clarify how the stakeholder strategy thinks and conceptualises. The paper examines the stakeholder model and takes a look at corporate governance. A method for cognitive mapping is also needed.
