Leadership as a Mediator of Learning Organization, Technology and Innovation Influencing Competitiveness of Thai Exporting Business
The goal of this mixed methods study was to look into the function of leadership in conveying the impact of learning organizations, technology, and innovation on Thai exporters’ competitiveness. In quantitative research, a structured and tested questionnaire was employed as a tool. The sample consisted of 110 exporting companies chosen at random among 1,723 Thai exporting companies using stratified random sampling. The findings revealed that leadership acted as a partial mediator in the transmission function. It was also discovered that leadership has a direct impact on a company’s competitiveness. Technology and innovation were important antecedents of competitiveness since they had a large direct and indirect impact on the outcome variable. All of the respondents praised learning efforts and had worked to transform their companies into learning organizations in order to gain a competitive advantage. Business survival also necessitated the use of modern technology and innovation. Organizational culture, social capital, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and life-long education were among the hidden variables highlighted by key informants through in-depth interviews and were investigated further throughout this study.
