Laser Speckle Imaging Revels Drying Dynamics of Adhesive

We show how to use laser speckle intensity-based approaches to track the drying of white glue in an experimental setting. The results show that qualitative and quantitative evaluation of spatial temporal speckle activities can be used to monitor the drying process of adhesives using graphical methods such as temporal LASCA, GD, Fujii, and parameterized Fujii, as well as numerical methods such as Inertia moment and temporal correlation. At a 5% significance level, a statistical Tukey’s test for the mean values of inertia moments permitted identifying distinct stages of drying.
