Learning Media of Pakakala Boardgame Can Increase Student Learning Motivation

The goal of this research is to create a learning media in the form of a boardgame Learning Media (Optional Board and Career Cards) to help students enhance their career knowledge in a fun, dynamic, and active learning environment. The Research and Development Method is used in this study. (1) product analysis, (2) developing products, (3) validation and revision, (4) play-trials, and final products are the steps of this research. Interviews and questionnaires are used to acquire data. Feasibility check and assessment by a theory expert, a learning media expert, and users utilising a 5-point Likert scale. Validation by theory expert receives a score of 5 in the very worthy category, while validation by media expert receives a score of 4.89 in the extremely worthy category. In contrast, the user or student reaction as an education practitioner and the instructor response as an education practitioner revealed very worthy categories with scores of 4.53 and 5, respectively, in the usage test. In order for students to gain their learning experience, learning material should be more dynamic and appealing. The researchers were successful in designing a game-based learning boardgame to expand the way primary school teachers educate. As a result, the designed pakakala boardgame at SDN 84 Parepare for year 4 pupils is appropriate for teaching topic 4 about diverse jobs.
