Recent Trends in Ethylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether Research
Ethylene glycol monomethyl ether (EGME) is a solvent that has a wide range of applications. The results of studies on EGME in humans and animals undertaken over the previous two decades are presented in this chapter. The documentation supports EGME’s classification as a gonadotoxicant, with implications for haematological, oxidative state, apoptosis, inflammation, gene expression, and metabolism.
