Total Anthocyanin Pigments in Thai Herb Vegetable

Teaw is a popular herb vegetable in the north-east of Thailand (Cratoxylum formosum). Teaw is a magnificent Thai vegetable that is primarily grown in Thailand’s north-east. The leaf extract was discovered to have strong antioxidant and antimutagenic capabilities when compared to numerous species of indigenous Thai plants. The researchers wanted to look at total anthocyanin pigments in Cratoxylum formosum. The results were compared in a variety of exaction solutions (water, acetone, ethanol, and methanol) and at various times (0 minutes, 30 minutes and 60 minutes). A spectrophotometer was used to analyse chemically weighed samples of 5 g with modification exaction solutions and difference times afterward absorbance samples at 535 nm. The results in different exaction solutions (water, acetone, ethanol, and methanol) at 0 minutes were 909.13675.010 mg/L, 737.743734.871 mg/L, 704.2162.313 mg/L, and 825.00614.226 mg/L, respectively. The concentrations of 873.886.626,788.50317.094, 720.9830.786, and 758.68637.772 mg/L in diversity exaction solutions (water, acetone, ethanol, and methanol) after 30 minutes were 873.886.626,788.50317.094, 720.9830.786, and 758.68637.772 mg/L, respectively. The concentrations of 903.9675, 764.534.9984, 735.23645.783, and 824.3814.718 mg/L in various exaction solutions (water, acetone, ethanol, and methanol) after 60 minutes were 903.9675, 764.534.9984, 735.23645.783, and 824.3814.718 mg/L, respectively. Exaction with water at 0 minutes (909.13675.010 mg/L) produced the most anthocyanin in Cratoxylum formosum. Cratoxylum formosum is a Thai vegetable that is widely produced in Thailand’s north-east.
