Attached Gingiva and Its Significance

Attached gingiva is a type of gingiva that is important for maintaining periodontal health. Plaque accumulation and increased inflammation favour periodontal damage because to the insufficient width of connected gingiva. This chapter delves into the definition, clinical significance, and numerous procedures for increasing attached gingiva, as well as the description and significance of keratinized mucosa around implants.
