Compounds from Isodon ternifolius and their Cytotoxic Activity

Many unrefined products have existed shown to have cytotoxicity and are secondhand as chemotherapy powers for anticancer. The current study was designed to evaluate the cytotoxic venture of chemical elements from the whole plant of Isodon ternifolius. A recently oxygenated spiroketone, isodonspiroketone (1) and four famous ones (2-5) were private. Using NMR, MS, and CD spectrum dossier, the structure of isodonspiroketone (1) was discovered. Isolation of compound 3 from I. ternifolius has not still occurred. In vitro tests were approved on their cytotoxic effects on the malignancy cell lines MDA-MB-231, HepG2, and A549. New compound (isodonspiroketone, 1) told moderate cytotoxic activities against A549, HepG2, and MDA-MB-231 tumor cell lines accompanying IC50 values of 23.84 ± 2.73, 27.77 ± 3.01, and 17.26 ± 1.61 μM, respectively, at the same time, the others were lazy.
