Numerical Simulation of CTS/CdS Thin-Film Solar Cell
In this book branch, we have proposed new structure of Cu2SnS3 (CTS)/CdS thin-film cosmic cells utilizing numerical modelling. Cell results are acquired by SCAP-1D solar person who pretends to be an expert. Absorber layer thickness, and hotness is varied to optimise the CTS located cell performance. This study still examines the tumor and recombination rates of CTS/CdS. Using this simulator, open circuit generated power, short circuit current mass, fill factor and efficiency of the projected cell is examined. Open circuit voltages of 0.6V and fill factor of 72.89% was noticed to enhance battery powered by the sun performance. CTS-based battery powered by the sun with CdS safeguard layer showed a capacity conversion effectiveness of 9.87% under optimum conditions.
