Averrhoa carambola fruit juice was used as a natural source of oxalate in the preparation of ti-doped zinc oxide and pure zinc oxide nanoparticles via a modified oxalate route. FTIR, TGA, and XRD were used to investigate the properties of the precursors. The investigation revealed that the precursors are zinc oxalate and Ti-doped zinc oxalate, which readily decompose at room temperature. 450°C.
