The Bioterrorist Attacks on America: A Historical Review

The events surrounding the 9/11 bioterrorist attacks on US civilians, which used anthrax spores, are discussed in this article. The points raised in this article substantiate the flaws in the hunt for “domestic” terrorists, suggesting that Arab agents were involved in the coordinated attacks by sending anthrax spore-laced letters. Since the attacks used a weaponized aerosol version of anthrax, there is suspicion that the spores were manufactured in a nation capable of producing bacteriological arms. Representatives from special interest groups presented the findings of an inquiry into the origins of biological weapons, stating that the operation’s participants had been identified. Finally, this article makes valid points for which further research is essential.
